Innovation, creativity and design thinking underpin a skill set that is needed to be successful in the 21^st century. At KAS, we are developing an innovative mindset across the school, providing students with the opportunity to ‘tinker’ and to develop their creativity.

Our Innovation Lab provides an intentionally designed space to make and create. It includes a theatre, computer lab linked to 3D printers and laser cutter, break out spaces, a ‘messy space’ and the main area which is set up as a Makerspace.

In addition to this, all buildings designed and constructed since 2016, embody the spirit of flexibility, allowing students and staff to use these in a way that mimics the progressive workplaces of today.

Regular opportunities are provided for students to develop 21^st century skills both in regular and extra curricular learning.
