Canteen
We aim to provide a variety of affordable and nutritious vegetarian meal and snack options to students and staff at KAS.
The canteen complies with the NSW Healthy Schools Canteen guidelines and there is an emphasis on freshness and nutrition.
KAS is not a nut-free campus. Please contact the school if your child has an allergy to nut products.
The School Canteen operates every day from Monday through to Friday each week with breakfast and lunch, except that breakfast is not offered on Monday.
Primary Students may visit the canteen at lunch from 11:15 to 11:25 and 1:25-1:45.
Secondary Students may visit the canteen at lunch from 12:05 to 12:40 and 1:55-2:10.
Our canteen menu and price list is sent home to parents at the commencement of the year and at any time that there are changes. It is also available on the school website and Skoolbag app, along with Flexischools.
The KAS Canteen operates Flexischools, an online ordering and payment system. It allows you to place all your school orders online in a matter of seconds, at any time of the day.
In order to set up your account go to www.flexischools.com.au and click “Register Now”. You will be sent an email with further instructions on how to complete the registration.
Once registered, you can start placing orders immediately. If you have any questions, please contact the Flexischools Customer Service Team on 1300 361 769, or you can contact them via their website.
If you would like your child to have access to funds to purchase food at the canteen during their breaks, please request a student card for them from the office.
If you are physically ordering, please ensure that your order is made before 9am. Orders should be written on a bag, and have the money enclosed.
- Write student’s full name and class on front of envelope
- List the item/s and the price of each item
- Total the order and place money in the envelope (correct change is appreciated)
- Place the envelope in the allocated location before school starts
- If change is required, it will be placed in the bottom of the food bag
We cannot guarantee that late lunch orders will always receive what has been requested, however, an alternative will always be offered.
